Fire At the Beach!

The following hotels located near St. Francis by the Sea have reserved blocks of rooms for Fire at the Beach attendees. Please use “Fire at the Beach” and refer to the Diocese of Charleston to receive the conference rate. All hotels are accessed by U. S. 278.

Hampton Inn, 1 Dillon Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Room rates have been reduced to $99/night for reservations made by September 10th. Contact: (843) 681-7900 or jsanders@hotelequities.com. This inn, located less than 2 miles from St. Francis by the Sea, is holding a block of rooms until August 1, 2009. The rate for a standard two queen or standard king room is $109.00 per night for the nights of September 18 and 19, 2009. The price includes a hot breakfast and other standard amenities.

Hilton Garden Inn, 1575 Fording Island Road, Hilton Head, SC 29926. Contact: (843) 837-8111 or fax (843) 837-8112. This marsh-front inn, located on the west side of the bridge to Hilton Head, is an easy 5 miles from St. Francis. The conference rate for a double room or a king is $85.00 per night. Double queen mini-suites are available for $105.00 per night. Reservations must be received by September 4, 2009. Standard amenities. Hot breakfast is made to order but not included in the room rate.

Holiday Inn Express, 35 Bluffton Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. Contact: (843) 757-2002 or barbarasoss@staffordhospitality.com. This inn, approximately 7 miles west of St. Francis, is located near Tanger 1 and Tanger 2 outlets. The inn is holding rooms until August 18, 2009. The conference rate is $79.95 for king and double queen rooms, $99.95 for the executive suite. Standard amenities include deluxe continental and hot entrée breakfast.

Quality Inn and Suites, 200 Museum Street, Hilton Head, SC 29926. Contact: (843) 681-3655 or gm@hiltonheadqualityinn.com Located less than 2 miles from St. Francis, this inn is holding king and double queen rooms at the conference rate of $69.95 per night. Reservations must be made by September 1, 2009, for this rate to be effective. Standard amenities include continental breakfast.
